If you're moving to WowServe from another system, you can pull your full customer list in at once instead of typing them one by one.
Open the bulk import
Click CRM/PRM from the module navigator (it lives at /customers). At the top right of the page, you'll see three buttons: Export, Bulk Import, and + Add Customer. Click Bulk Import.
Prepare your file
Bulk Import expects a CSV with one customer per row. The columns it understands are name, email, phone, address (single line is fine), tier (Standard / Premium / Enterprise), and customer type. You don't need every column — just include what you have.
Upload and review
Upload your CSV and WowServe will preview the first few rows so you can confirm the columns match. Fix any obvious mistakes in the source file and re-upload. When the preview looks right, confirm and the import runs in the background.
After the import
Imported customers appear in the Customer Directory with whatever tier you set (or Standard by default). The Customer Insights sidebar on the right will update its counts — Active Customers, Retention Rate, and the tier breakdown.
A few tips
- Phone numbers import cleanest in (XXX) XXX-XXXX format, but the importer will tolerate dashes, dots, and country codes.
- Duplicates are matched on email and phone. If a customer already exists, the importer updates them instead of creating a copy.
- Addresses that don't geocode cleanly still get imported — you'll see them flagged on the customer card so you can fix them later.
